Helping Protect Businesses

Recently, the DE JURE Law Firm team took part in the first event dedicated to protecting businesses from inspections conducted by regulatory and law enforcement authorities. This important and engaging event was organized by the Association of Employers' Organizations of the Odesa Region.

DE JURE was represented by:

  • Managing Partner, Attorney-at-Law, PhD in Law Grygoriy Tripulskyi;
  • Partner, Attorney-at-Law, Doctor of Law Artem Ripenko;
  • Junior Partner, Attorney-at-Law, PhD in Law Oleksandr Shchukin;
  • Attorney-at-Law Yurii Kostyniuk;
  • Attorney-at-Law Viacheslav Ushtvan.

Special attention was given to criminal procedural measures, particularly how to act in the event of a search or seizure, with or without a court warrant. Unfortunately, many businesses do not have a well-developed action plan for such situations, even though the first few minutes are often crucial. At the same time, regulatory and law enforcement authorities are not always adversaries, and interaction with them should always be professional, respectful, and prompt.

The topic generated significant interest among the audience, as business owners prefer to be prepared for inspections even if they hope never to put this knowledge into practice.

Turn to professional legal advisors to ensure your business is always prepared for the unexpected. DE JURE can conduct a legal check-up, develop an action plan for searches and urgent investigative procedures, train your employees, and represent your company’s interests during inspections by regulatory authorities.
