FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE FOR THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST
Those who need legal assistance the most often hesitate to seek it because they believe the cost of legal services will be unaffordable. These include internally displaced persons, people who were forced to leave areas affected by hostilities, victims of war crimes, including children, and other vulnerable groups.
For them, the Ukrainian Bar Association, with financial support from the International Rescue Committee (IRC), is implementing a project aimed at providing comprehensive support to the legal aid system for people affected by the war in Ukraine.
In the Odesa region, at the invitation of the Association, lawyers from the DE-JURE law firm have joined the initiative and are already providing legal assistance.
As part of the project, a hotline operates where people can receive legal support. The participating lawyers provide initial legal consultations (clarification of legal issues, explanation of possible steps, etc.) and also offer direct assistance with obtaining documents, communicating with government authorities, and court representation.
The project will run until September 30, 2026.
Hotline numbers:
0 800 300 253 (free of charge, on business days from 10:00 to 18:00) and +380 (44) 492-88-48.
