On September 18, 2026, an important event organized by the Department of Economic Development of the Odesa City Council took place.

Artem Ripenko, a partner at the DE-JURE law firm, was invited to the event and delivered a presentation on “Documenting the damage caused and prospects for its compensation.”

Unfortunately, the issue of compensation for war-related damage is becoming increasingly relevant for the Odesa region and Ukraine as a whole.

The meeting also addressed municipal mechanisms for supporting businesses affected by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.

DE-JURE has significant practical experience in matters related to documenting war-related damage, preparing the relevant body of evidence, and mechanisms for its subsequent compensation. It was precisely this accumulated experience and expertise in the field that led to Artem Ripenko being invited to participate in the discussion.
