What compensation options are available for businesses affected by Russian military aggression?

Artem Ripenko, partner at the law firm “DE-JURE”, head of forensic and land law practice, advises paying attention to local support programs.

In particular, Odesa has a support program for businesses affected by the war, which provides:

  • reimbursement of 50% of the cost of damage assessment and expert examination — up to UAH 100,000;
  • compensation for property restoration costs (production facilities, warehouses, offices, equipment) — up to UAH 500,000.

Payments are made from the budget of the Odesa city territorial community.
