How can we help in the field of labor law

Labor law is a branch of law that regulates labor relations between employees and employers: conclusion of an employment contract, working conditions, dismissal, and labor protection.

Labor law regulates the relationship between an employer and an employee, and accordingly, in disputes, a lawyer can protect the interests of one or the other party. The law firm “DE-YURE” has experience working with all interested parties.

— The main requests that employees contact us with are reinstatement at work after illegal dismissal and receiving compensation, — comments the junior partner of the law firm “DE-YURE”, lawyer Oleksandr Shchukin. — This also includes disputes when a person did not receive a salary or other payments after dismissal. One of the most high-profile cases we conducted was the reinstatement of the director of the Odessa Art Museum, Oleksandr Roitburd. It was a long, difficult and interesting struggle, but we achieved our goal through the Supreme Court, whose decision cannot be appealed.

If, on the contrary, an employer applies to DE-JURE, we provide the following services:

  • drafting internal documentation: collective agreement, instructions, job responsibilities, work regulations, etc.;
  • consulting on staff reductions during wartime;
  • countering inspections by the State Labor Service.

True, spontaneous inspections by the State Labor Service with the participation of the police and video recording are a rarity during martial law. But before the full-scale invasion, DE-JURE helped companies get rid of illegally imposed fines through the courts.

Now, foreign companies that hire Ukrainians and want to prescribe such clauses in the contract that cannot be applied in our conditions are more often contacting them. We offer them compromise options and help find a solution that will satisfy both parties.
