What you need to know about appealing fines

The first thing you need to know is that any administrative fine can be appealed administratively or in court. How successful the attempt will be largely depends on the qualifications of the lawyer. In particular, the company “DE-JURE” has successful experience in appealing the following types of fines:

  • TCK fine for failure to appear on a summons and violation of other rules of military registration;
  • fine for traffic violations (unpaid parking, speeding, etc.);
  • fine for violation of environmental standards.

– If you plan to appeal a fine, you need to get your hands on the resolution on the administrative offense, and preferably the protocol that is the basis for it, – advises lawyer Dimitriy Strichenko.

You can appeal the resolution in a pre-trial procedure, as a rule, within 10 days. If the court refuses, an appeal is filed (a period of up to 30 days is given for this). Moreover, a person is not obliged to pay the fine until the appeal court issues a decision, because until then the fine is considered uncontested.
