What you need to know about fines for the territorial assembly center

A fine is a monetary penalty imposed on individuals or legal entities for violating the law. Fines are applied in the areas of administrative, tax, criminal, and other law.

Despite all the fears of Ukrainians, fines for violating military registration after the new law “On Mobilization” came into force have not yet become massive. We are figuring out together with the law firm “DE-JURE” who and how the territorial recruitment center fines. By the way, we have experience in successfully appealing fines in court – contact us.

Who is fined for ignoring a summons?

According to the head of legal practice, lawyer Yuriy Kostinyuk, a summons is considered served when the mail receives a notification about delivery or the impossibility of carrying it out. That is, ignoring the summons or moving will not help, but this does not guarantee a large fine.

Resolutions on bringing to administrative responsibility are issued mainly to those who received a summons directly to the territorial recruitment center or began to undergo certain procedures there, and then did not appear. On the other hand, those from whom the summons was returned with a mark of non-delivery are fined quite rarely, because the territorial collection center simply does not have the technical capabilities for this.

How do I find out about the fine at the territorial collection center?

People usually find out about the fine either directly at the territorial collection center, or when the enforcement service has already imposed an arrest on the card account, and it is not possible to pay with a card in the store. You can currently check your status in the register of persons fined by the territorial collection center from Opendatabot. For citizens, this service costs 99 UAH.

How much is the fine?

The amount of the fine is determined by the official who issues it. In administrative law, the first fine is minimal (i.e. 17 thousand UAH), and in case of a repeated violation, a larger amount is already assigned. So in practice, the amount of the fine for violating military registration is most often 17 thousand UAH.
