What will happen if you do not pay the CCC fine?
The CCC imposes penalties for violating military registration requirements: failure to appear at the CCC upon summons, untimely updating data, etc. However, it often happens that a person learns about the fine not directly from CCC representatives, but from the Reserve+ application, CCC notification groups, or generally when the police stop them and inform them that they are wanted for a crime. When should you pay the fine to avoid such a development, said the head of the litigation practice of the law company “DE-JURE”, attorney Yuriy Kostinyuk.
The fine is paid within 15 days from the date of delivery of the decision. During this time, a person can pay the fine or, if he believes that it was imposed unlawfully, appeal it in court. In this case, the payment period is frozen for the duration of the trial. But if the person fined by the CCC is declared wanted, this status remains until the fine is paid or the CCC executes the relevant court decision to cancel it.
If the CCC does not receive information about the payment of the fine or the appeal within 15 days, they can transfer the resolution to the enforcement service. After that, the amount of the fine doubles, an enforcement fee of 10% and the costs of enforcement proceedings (500-100 UAH) are added. The person is subject to enforcement measures: seizure of accounts, property, a ban on driving and traveling abroad.
You can appeal the fine through the court within 10 days, but the enforcement service can block the accounts while the case is being considered. Therefore, it is advisable to file an additional petition with the court to stop the collection or first pay the fine, and after winning the case, return the funds through a separate lawsuit.
