We, Odessa filmmakers and public activists, first drew attention to the founder of the law firm “DE-JURE” — managing partner, lawyer, candidate of law Grigory Trypulsky, when he vividly and fundamentally demonstrated his professional qualities by protecting the rights and reputation of the legendary Odessa artist Oleksandr Roitburd, legally stopping harassment and mobbing and helping to return him to the position of director of the Odessa Art Museum. This opened up the opportunity to implement a revolutionary project to transform Ukraine’s cultural institutions.
In addition to his brilliant defense of rights and cultural advocacy, we learned that Grigory is a member of the “Marazli” club — a club of patrons who support culture. When we invited him to support the filming of a film about Odessa nonconformist artists, Grigory immediately responded and made his donation to the film’s creation.
