Support victims of Russian crimes
The other day, the International Registry of Damages RD4U held a forum in Kyiv called “Support for Victims on the Path to Compensation for Damages Caused by War,” which was attended by over 100 participants. Among them was the law firm DE-JURE, represented by partner, head of forensic and land law practice, attorney, Doctor of Laws Artem Ripenko, and our like-minded people from the NGO City of Power.
Not all victims of Russian aggression consider it necessary to file an application with the Registry, whether because of despair, or because of employment, or for any other reason. Therefore, the true scale of the Russian Federation’s war crimes remains unexplained.
That is why the DE-JURE company sees its mission in providing legal support to victims, which includes, among other things, filing an application with RD4U. This requires time, effort and, of course, resources, and must be a coordinated process. However, we can only be glad that our position is shared by many colleagues-advocates and lawyers. Together we will work to ensure that every victim files an application and can receive compensation.
Special thanks to the management of the Register, Markiyan Klyuchkovsky, the Kyiv office, and Hanna Hristova, who have been systematically working together for a long time.
