To ensure timely assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Legal assistance to NCOs is the formalization of the agreements reached in clear and specific terms in the relevant contracts, taking into account the provisions of current international and current legislation of Ukraine, as well as the national legislation of manufacturers (suppliers).

Today we would like to talk about the legal support that the “DE-JURE” company provides to charitable organizations using the example of our cooperation on PRO BONO* terms with the Monsters Corporation Charitable Foundation.

Employees and volunteers of the Monsters Corporation constantly and effectively provide the Defense Forces of our country with everything they need, in particular by providing tactical medical equipment, communications equipment, unmanned systems and their control means, as well as certain weapons for effective confrontation with the enemy.

As the founder of the Monsters Corporation, Kateryna Nozhevnikova, notes, almost anyone can raise funds for a mortar, but no one can buy and transfer it to the recipient for use.

Thus, the task of the Monsters Corporation itself is to find a manufacturer (supplier) of weapons or other goods, and agree with them on the terms of delivery and logistics to Ukraine. The task of the Law Company “DE-JURE” is to formalize the agreements reached in clear and specific terms in the relevant contracts, taking into account the provisions of the current international and current legislation of Ukraine, as well as the national legislation of manufacturers (suppliers).

– “Monster Corporation” in the vast majority of cases acts as a direct donor that imports specific humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The Company “DE-JURE” expertly analyzes the contractual and other primary documentation of the “Corporation” and helps to draw up contracts with manufacturers and suppliers so that during the import customs procedures and subsequent state and public control over the use of such humanitarian aid, no questions or bureaucratic red tape arise, and the assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Fund arrives at the front on time, – explains the junior partner of the Law Company “DE-JURE” Oleksandr Shchukin.

– I advise both ordinary citizens and charitable foundations to comprehensively determine the contractual terms and customs and other procedures (declaration, reporting, registration of transfer to a military unit, etc.) when importing property into Ukraine for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to consult with lawyers in advance on this issue in order to avoid problems in the future. A separate block of issues that should be taken into account is the specifics of the national legislation of suppliers and international legislation in the field of military and dual-use goods in such a way as to minimize the risks of delayed delivery of such goods or the delivery of poor-quality goods.

– We note that the Law Company “DE-JURE” in terms of legal support for providing assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine is always open to cooperation and has qualified personnel resources for this. For us, cost and other indicators do not matter when it comes to achieving Victory – we work equally diligently on charitable projects for both 100 and 100 million euros.

*PRO BONO – Lat. pro bono publico “for the public good”) – providing professional assistance to charitable, public and other non-profit organizations on a free basis.
